Full Day Camp

Campers ages 8-18

A horse intense beginner through intermediate wrangler day camp for youth ages 8-18. This camp is for anyone from beginner to intermediate riders. The program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Campers will not only learn about horses, but will also learn how horses think and how horses can teach the camper life skills. Having fun and being safe while leading, saddling and riding a horse are a top priority. The day will include horseback riding along with other fun activities in the barn like horse chores, crafts, and bonding with fellow campers on ground work training. Intermediate riders have the ability to add basics learned in beginner classes and add skill such has how to balance and feet placement, leads and loping, bareback riding and learning the jumping basics.

Camp Cost: $300  

  • Register before March 30, 2022 and save $50! (ONE DISCOUNT PER FAMILY)
  • Drop your camper off by 8 a.m. all week for an additional $25 per day, bring a breakfast snack.
  • Can't make it to camp by 1:00 p.m.? No problem Pick your camper up by 6:00 p.m. all week for an additional $25 per day. Extra water bottles and a snack recommended. 
  • Multi-child and multi-camp discounts available after March 30.  ($25 off per child).


The week will end with a horse show for the parents. Campers will receive a picture of themselves with one of the horses they rode during camp, and a completion certificate.


Notes:

  • We will allow a grace period of 15 minutes for drop off and pick up times. If drop-off or pick-up time exceeds 15 minutes, you will be charged the early drop off or pickup fee of $25 per day.
  • There are multiple levels of Beginner Horse Day Camp. Each level is designed to match your camper's current proficiency, and allow them to master certain skills before advancing to the next level. Upon completion of each level, campers will receive a certificate detailing the skills they have learned.
  • Campers will need a True Heart Equine T-Shirt to wear;

Camp registration deadline is two weeks prior to camp start date.

Campers must be checked out by a pre-approved adult (this includes campers who are carpooling with another camper). Be prepared to show I.D. at checkout.

Closing Program & Horse Show - Parents are encouraged to attend!
Friday at 12:30pm at the True Heart Equine riding arena.
