Littles Day Camp

A laid back beginner horse day camp for youth ages 5-9. This camp is for beginner and novice riders who are small but mighty. The program runs 3 days from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Monday through Wednesday)

Campers will not only learn about horses, but will also learn how horses think and how horses can teach the camper. Having fun and being safe while leading, saddling and riding a horse are a top priority. The day will include horseback riding along with other fun activities in the barn like horse chores, crafts, and bonding with fellow campers on ground work training.

Camp Cost: $275

• Register before Feb 29, 2024 and save $75!
• Register between Feb 29 & March 30, 2024 and save $50! 
• Drop your camper off by 8:15am all week for an additional $25/day, bring a breakfast snack. 
• Can't make it to camp by 12:30pm? No problem Pick your camper up by 2pm all week for an additional $25./day ($50 for AM & Pm extended care) Extra water and a snack recommended. 
• Multi-child and multi-camp discounts available after March 30 ($25 off per child; one Discount per family).

The week will end with a horse show for the parents. Campers will receive a picture of themselves with one of the horses they rode during camp, a T-shirt, and a certificate of completion.

Notes:

• We will allow a grace period of 15 minutes for drop off and pick up times. If drop-off or pick-up time exceeds 15 minutes, your account will be charged the early drop off or pickup fee of $25 or $50 for the week. 
  
• There are multiple levels of Peewee Horse Day Camp. Each level is designed to match your camper's current proficiency, and allow them to master certain skills before advancing to the next level. Upon completion of each level, campers will receive a certificate detailing the skills they have learned.

• Extended care campers will NOT be riding horses, and will need to either bring a quiet activity or expect to be helping with barn chores. They should also bring extra snacks and water. PLEASE make sure your camper understands that there is absolutely NO riding involved and that they need to have a quiet activity available, as we will not provide any other activities for extended care campers.

• Campers will need a True Heart Equine T-Shirt to wear; if you have one from a previous year, it can be reused. Otherwise we sell discounted shirts for $10 (required at time of purchase). 
• *** IF YOU PURCHASED A CAMP SHIRT LAST YEAR AND DID NOT RECEIVE IT, PLEASE REACH OUT SO WE CAN MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR SHIRT. 

Camp registration deadline is two weeks prior to camp start date, but camp weeks do fill up fast!
 

Registration form for summer youth camps is an online form EMAILED to you after you purchase the camp week.
